Stylish, newly refurbished and very peaceful apartment in a beautifully restored, elegant 19th century building - just minutes from the centre of historic Krakow. Peaceful and safe neighbourhood - only 5 minutes walk from the city's famous Market Square with all its cafes, restaurants and night life.

The apartment has been recently renovated to a very high standard - a mixture of modern design with a touch of classic charm. Its spacious and light rooms have parquet flooring and old ceramic stoves. It also has its own balcony where you can relax after a hard day's sightseeing.

If you get tired of eating out (although it's hard to imagine, given the number of great restaurants and bars nearby) you can stay in and enjoy a meal at the apartment. All the modern comforts are there for you, including a microwave, an oven and most important of all - a dishwasher. If you stay a bit longer than just a few days there's no need to worry about dirty laundry - you have a washer/dryer right there.

You probably won't be spending much time indoors but if you choose to do so you can lounge around watching Satellite TV ( more than 30 channels available) or listening to radio or your own CDs.

Shopping is something you can't possibly miss in Krakow and there are plenty of various shops within a short walking distance of the apartment. If you need food - there's a deli 100 meters away, open 24 hours a day and a whole range of shops and cafes on Karmelicka Street nearby. If you're brave enough to go for authentic Polish food - try a student canteen or a little pierogi (dumplings) bar, both situated on Karmelicka Street, both cheap and our favourites. One place you should not miss is the unassuming little cake shop just outside the buildings' entrance - their biscuits are divine! And if you need anything else a 10 minute walk will take you to Galeria Krakowska - the newly open shopping complex where you can simply get everything you dream of.

FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE CITY CENTER
The John Paul II International Airport is located to the west of Cracovie, at a distance of 11 km from the city centre.
TAXI - Individual passenger transport on a round-the-clock basis is offered by Radio Taxi 9191 - cost about 60 PLN
PUBLIC TRANSPORT - The bus stop is located directly at the roundabout, in front of the passenger terminal. Take bus no.292 to Dworzec Glowny Wschod. Travel time approximately 45 min. Bus fare 2,50 PLN, one hour ticket 3,1 PLN. Tickets may be purchased at newspaper stands in the passenger terminal and from the driver (with an additional payment).
FROM THE TRAIN, BUS STATION
Located in the city center - 1,5 km from the Main Market, link Cracovie with all the major cities in Poland.
TAXI - Individual passenger transport on a round-the-clock basis is offered by Radio Taxi 9191 (from the platform go upstairs)- cost 5 PLN + 2,3 PLN/1 km
PUBLIC TRANSPORT - The bus and tram stops are located 300 meters further (follow the sign City Center)
